A happy senior post!

I was driving my sister and I home and she started asking questions about high school. I just couldn't stop! I was telling her abouts the classes she should take first, the thing she has to do with her friends, my favorite memories, and how fast it all goes. I made sure to say that every bad thing that happens between freshmen and junior year, senior year makes up for it. The year that I will tell people was my favorite year in high school. I have about three months left before I give up my senior status for freshmen again. I have two quotes that have played a large part in my life this year. I have mentioned both of this on my blog before.

"When I was first married my husband said I was one of the bravest people he knew. When I asked him why, he said because I was a complete coward but went ahead and did things anyhow."
- Pema Chodron

"Here's to the crazy ones, the misfits, the rebels, the troublemakers, the round pegs in the square holes... the ones who see things differently -- they're not fond of rules... You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can't do is ignore them because they change things... they push the human race forward, and while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius, because the ones who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do."
-Steve Jobs

I was going through old posts that I have written throughout the school year and pulled out my favorite quotes, that I came up with!

"I'm ready to make senior year the best year!"

"Sarah and I are attempting to enjoy this year to the fullest! Even if it involves being a little wild and crazy"

"Young, wild, and free only happens for a short period. Carpe Diem?"

"We seized a moment of our fleeting teenage lives and now have another memory to take place in the back of our minds. A memory that will hopefully resurface in 10 or 20 years from now and make us smile"

"Since we are seniors we decided to enjoy the rites that the title brings"

"A small price to pay for enjoying ourselves."

"We just wanted that last hurrah!"
I have gained so much confidence being a senior or maybe I just stop caring about what others think? Either way its the perfect time to let loss and enjoy yourself! Who cares about the demerits you get, the rules you break, the people you temporarily piss off, or the people that deem themselves better than you. Like I have said a million times, you will remember the memories you made, not the homework assignments you did.

Downton Abbey

Mom: Are you watching Downton Abbey?
Me: Yes, how do you even know what this is?
Mom: I love that show!

I must admit that I have just jumped on the Downton Abbey train, and my mother beat me to it. I am addicted to it now!

That awesome moment when you get a "prank" phone call from someone and they do not realize that you have your phone contacts and facebook synced. They tried so hard convincing me that I was being a jerk to an old lady. I won and they admitted defeat.

Only three more months of high school! I am excited, but only because I am sick of being treated like a toddler at my school. I find it ridiculous that I have been babysitting other children since I was in 5th grade yet, people still think seniors in high school need babysitters themselves. I wonder what school would do if they found out that I have spent days at home...alone! Oh the horror that would spread across their faces.

Besides that I am dreading graduating. Life is going way to fast.

Snowball 2013

Snowball 2013.
Of course it did not go as planned.
But it was fun and spontaneous.
When did I get a gummy smile?

We got ready but ditched snowball for bigger and better things.
If you consider Pitch Perfect to be bigger and better things.
Which apparently was not a good enough answer for EJ.
Sorry we were not drinking or smoking weed in the woods!

Sir stub-a-lot wouldn't let me post this picture on facebook.

We decided to show up at snowball a little late.
Apparently, there is some rule about not showing up late?
We got kicked out of snowball.
Nothing makes me feel more like a bad ass then getting kicked out of the lamest dance in history.

Things I learned on the night of snowball:
1) Forget sticks! People have pineapples up their ass.

2) My conjoined twin and I look pretty damn cute together.

3) Kayla needs to work on her lying skills and Sarah needs to stop stuttering.
4) Girls are mean especially at smoothie places.

5) I will never attend another dance at my high school.

6) I let my friends see my fighting skills for texting and imessaging.
Apparently, they were surprised that I actually put time into my reply.
They all agreed they hate fighting with me, because I'm good at it.
Sorry, I like to win.
Snowball 2013.
It was fun putting down another check mark.

Bad news

So I have had a strong dislike towards a guy named Jordan for some time. Our feelings towards each other actually went both ways. We even expressed our dislike for each other to each other. No hiding the dislike for us two! Except, he has started to ruin our relationship! The relationship that I highly enjoy. I make fun of him and he says, "Rae" in that way only Jordan can. I threaten to drive off without him, question his artwork, and make Jim Jones references regarding him. He judges my relationships with my friends, spreads stupid rumors about back massager's, and thinks he is holier than thou. This relationship has been fun for me.

Until we started to carpool.

Jordan and I alone in a car for 15 minutes.

We have never spent one-on-one time together. Ever.

During those car rides we have come to the conclusion that we do not really hate each other, that we have changed since freshmen year, and that we can actually stand each other and have in-depth conversations about things.

Stupid Jordan.

Always trying to ruin a good thing.

Sarah, you are required to spend the night every Wednesday. I cannot be alone with Jordan for one more minute!

Who knows what will happen if he agrees on the things I have to say about Erich and Caleb again or what if he compliments my thoughts on a religious topic once more?

I might actually... *breathe*..... become....friends....with Jordan.

I cant believe I just typed that out.

Time to go think up some more Jim Jones jokes and remind myself why we had a good thing going.

-I give my friends permission to do whatever is necessary in order to avoid this* from happening to me-

*Being friends with Jordan

The Ranch

Things have been good at work. I thought it was about time for a little update on my first "real" job. Not for you but for my own records. So feel free to move on(hint: Sarah).

Scary Larry has yet to leave the girls alone. Who is Scary Larry? Well, he is an old man that likes to stare, stock, rub up against, and make strange comments towards the girls that work at the Ranch. He inquires on when we will be working next too. Creepy! My favorite comments so far include...

While pointing to the chicken he says, "Those are some hot breasts" and then proceeds to look down at Caitlynn's boobs.

When I was taking some temperatures at the salad he brushed past my shoulder and says, "You are as hot as that thermometer!" The thermometer wasn't even hot.....

My manager Kevin was so sweet regarding Scary Larry. He always insists on handling Larry for we dont have to get close. He said, "Nobody is going to mess with my girls." He is so much better than Jeff!

Speaking of Jeff he was giving me a ton of crap about anything and everything one night. I glared at him and he said to me, "You know I love you Rae!" Say what? Did mean Jeffy just say he loved me? I think he did. He then proceeded to tell me to get back to work. I'll take what I can get.

" And what is your ass name? I mean last name!" - Caitlynn speaking on the phone with a customer.

A couple guys almost convinced our boss to mention "alaskan pipeline" on the sign out front. If you do not know what that is feel free to look it up on urban dictionary. I highly suggest not doing it. Its disgusting, but a little funny that it almost got placed on the sign. I wonder what kind of calls we would end up getting.

The Viper is still annoying as ever. Her favorite pizza to order has tomatoes. All of a sudden she decides that she is supposedly "allergic" to tomatoes. She proceeds to flip out at me when I bring her a pizza with tomatoes. She calls our entire staff idiots for not knowing about her allergies. That woman drives me crazy.

Colin and Ties

It is about time for another blog post!

I broke my glasses and Jordan hot glued them back together for me. It was a quick fix and I had to go buy another pair the next day. I decided to go out of my comfort zone and get a geeky looking pair.
I told my mom and she pulled out her box of previous glasses. I took a few pictures and told my friends that those were the glasses I got.

My friends are liars! There responses were "they are cute", "unique style, I like them", "oh look at that", and my favorite "wowza"!

Of course, when I spilled the news that they were not mine, they admitted that they were ugly.

But they do look adorable on my cat!

I decided to try out a mustache too! Smoothie time during lunch!

Random: Freshmen suck at parking.

My old peer ministry class held a fundraiser in the form of a dinner.
Black pants, white shirts, and ties were the uniform.
I loved my tie!
I find it unfair that they are suppose to be only for men.
That's lame and I might change that.
Back to the fundraiser, we raised $1200 for the family!

Last but not least I had a nice little sleepover with Sydney.
Which resulted in a twitter and facebook hack.
Sorry Syd.
It was a little funny.

This college thing keeps becoming more real! Winona was having an admitted day on Friday and I decided to go. Perfect way to get a better feel of the campus, meet new people, and tour the nursing building. I feel so at home when I go there!

I met these two girls while standing in line. The one I liked was named Ellie and the other one would not stop talking about herself! So that is why I forgot her name. I tried tagging along with them but in the end I ended up parting ways. Which was a good thing because I met Dylan. He was one of the three guys on the nursing tour. We were partners for an activity and hit it off right away. He likes camping, sucks at singing, played saxophone for a year, looks like Justin Timberlake, likes Star Wars, and loved Pokemon when he was younger(me too)! I met his parents and he helped me look for my mother. She has a way of getting lost. In the end we agreed that if I went to Winona we would have to have a Star Wars marathon. We then hugged and went our separate ways.

So my dilemma is that he is either gay or just one of those rare nice guys.

Either way I will have a friend when I go there! I never thought that friend would be a guy. I tend to bond better with girls. Gay or not he is 10x better than any guy at my school. I think I will like college!

Side note: Eric has no need to be worried.
