First Month Home

For years I dreamed about getting out of Green Bay.
I finally did this past year.
Moving away really put things in perspective for me.
I learned to appreciate the town I was raised in.
My first month back home was super busy but my free time was spent with some of the most important people in my life.
I left some really awesome people in Green Bay (and Appleton) and I'm glad that they continued to stay awesome while I was gone.

My weekends were spent with my friends and this guy. That would be my friend Katie's dad. He use to chase us around and play tickle monster with us when we were five. Somehow I ended up spending four weekends in a row drinking with him. He said, "You went to college as my daughters friend and you came back as my drinking buddy. Our last weekend he tripped and fell into the fire. I got him all patched up and sleeping on the floor that night. A few days later, he was talking to my dad and said, "I cannot party with your daughter anymore! That girl can hold her liquor and some how I end up dead on the living floor every time we drink."

On a different note....
This kid graduated from the 8th grade!
Ain't she a cutie?
My little sister is growing up way to fast.

One of my best friends decided to move in with me...and my parents.
She's off backpacking in Europe somewhere, but when she gets back we are going to be roommates.
It's going to be a good time!

One weekend I got two guys numbers. I didn't have any intention of pursuing either of them, but one guy has sparked my interested. He has a crotch rocket, is friends with my cousin Cody, and taught me how to make a damn good bloody mary!

This would be me, showing my sister some love, after having a few drinks. Sister of the year award...or terrible example of a sister. Oh well.

I started nannying twice a week for a little girl named Sam and her brother Dominic. The first two times it was just her and I. She is the cutest thing ever! We have a good time together and she's really good for the ego. She constantly tells me how awesome and beautiful I am. I like this kid.

My first month home ended on a sad note. One of my best friends' parents moved out of their home. They have lived there for the past 19 years. I am a really sentimental person and I'm taking the move really hard. I have so many memories in that house and seeing it empty was sad. Plus, I lost my new drinking buddy. His wife probably made him move, because I let him fall in a fire. I'm just kidding. They invited me to Sunday Funday at their new house!
My first month home I became an alcoholic on the weekends, I got my CNA, I started nannying, and I met a guy. I'd say it was a successful month.
