San Francisco, California: Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman's Warf, and Alcatraz

We got the most out of our first full day in San Francisco!
Our first stop was the Presidio to view the Golden Gate Bridge.
It is a former military base turned into a state park.
Besides a beautiful view of the bridge you could also explore a lot of old military buildings.

We then went to the Fisherman's Warf.
It is a huge tourist attraction, but wasn't ridiculously busy.
We ate clam chowder right near the dock and it was great!
It might be tied with Seattle's clam chowder.

We walked around Pier 39 and saw all of the boats and fishermen.
We decided to pay $15 for a boat tour under the Golden Gate Bridge and around Alcatraz.
It was totally worth the money!!

We found a giant bottle of wine at a cute hippy store.

We have seen a ton of Sea Lions and Seals around the docks!
We don't have those in the wild in Green Bay.

We didn't go to the wax museum, but got to see Beyonce in the entry way.

The time just flew by on our first day.
My last day as a teenager couldn't have been spent in a better way!
