Europe: Stockholm, Sweden to Kristianstad, Sweden

We packed our bags, ate breakfast, checked out of the airplane, left our bags in the luggage room, and made our way back to the airport. We found a train that took us to the city center of Stockholm!
When we arrived we went to the ticket booth and asked for directions. The lady was so sweet to us! She got out her phone and looked up directions for us, even though her job was to only sell train tickets. We found the right bus without a problem and went to the Vasa Museum.
The Vasa Museum is a maritime museum that displays the only almost fully intact 17th century ship that has been salvaged. She sunk on her maiden voyage in 1628. It was incredible to see and learn about. Brennan loved it so much and even bought a scarf with the Vasa on it.

We then walked around and stopped inside of a church. It wasn't overly impressive compared to what we have seen. We got back on the bus and started to look for a place to eat. We soon gave in and got coffee at Dunkin' Donuts just for the free wifi. We then walked to the Royal Palace! We didn't get a formal tour, but it was impressive from the outside. We had lunch at an Irish Pub we came across. We tried some local beers/ciders, before catching our train back to the airport. We had to grab the bus to our hostel to grab our bags and return to the airport. We had an hour wait at the airport, where I caught up on journaling. Our plane was really small and since it wasn't an international flight the pilot and flight attendants only spoke in Swedish. When the flight attendant offered us our beverage and noticed our American accents she asked if we spoke any Swedish. When we gave her our answer she told the whole grew that there were Americans on board and that all the announcements had to be in English. It was kinda embarrassing.

Our flight was only an hour and we landed at a super tiny airport. Right when we walked into the airport Anna and her sister Emma were there to meet us! The baggage claim was only 5 feet long, which made getting my bag super quick. We got into Anna's car and learned that she was a terrible driver! This girl uses a blinker in an empty parking lot to back out of a parking space. She took us to Max's, which is Sweden's version of McDonald's and it was delicious! I got cheese sauce to dip my nuggets in, which was a wonderful choice. My meal was considered a low CO2 meal as well. Only in Sweden would they tell you that! Don't tell Americans about low CO2 meals they will probably try and make it the next trend. Anna then drove us to her house and we met her parents. She had a bed made up for us in the living room and we finally got to catch up on laundry! Haley face timed with us and told us about her recent "naughty" moments that involve her just making out with guys. After that Anna gave us a quick update about her life, her relationship with Time, and her plans for the future. She also commented on Brennan's extremely long showers, which was great, because I always bug him about that. Anna also told us about her crazy grandma and how she purposely didn't her about our arrival. She didn't want her Grandma to stop by and say hi.
